As an EMDR therapist, my aim is to help clients attain their goals in order to be empowered and living in the present. By assisting a client through the process of change, one can embrace his/her potential and move forward in one's chosen direction.
My approach, whether with individuals or families, is to understand a client's experience, help identify options for change, and engage a client in healing and transforming their life experiences. As a result, clients feel in control of their choices and lives. Additionally, I help children and adults with difficult life experiences to reengage in healthy relationships and continue on their life journey. As a Certified EMDR therapist, I work with clients to process disturbing life events in order to promote healing and healthy functioning.
I also work with individuals and families toward the goals of safety and healing. My experience includes the treatment of children and adults with trauma histories, as well as therapeutic intervention with family members impacted by abuse. My objective in working with clients is to foster safe, healthy development and promote healing and healthy boundaries.
