As a Certified EMDR therapist, my approach is to understand a client's experience, help identify options for change, and engage a client in healing and transforming their life experiences. My aim is to help clients to heal in order to be empowered and living in the present. By assisting a client through the process of change, one can embrace his/her potential and move forward in one's chosen direction. As a result, clients feel in control of their choices and lives.
I help children, teens, and adults with difficult life experiences to reengage in healthy relationships and continue on their life journey. As an EMDR therapist, I work with clients impacted by trauma to process disturbing life events and help the brain's natural ability to heal. EMDR therapy promotes healing as well as safe, healthy development and boundaries.
I am also an Approved Consultant in EMDR and provide individual and group consultation for clinicians seeking Certification or Approved Consultant status in EMDR.
