What are EMDR Intensives? EMDR Intensives help you to move to full resolution more quickly, so that you can be more productive and engaged in your life. With the effectiveness of EMDR therapy, the Intensive approach allows you to dedicate days, rather than months, to focus on your healing and growth. With an individualized treatment plan, we zoom into your goals and intentions for healing. My job is to zoom out and help identify and navigate the path for your healing. EMDR Intensives are efficient and effective in reprocessing a recent traumatic event, giving you relief from symptoms and maladaptive responses from past trauma, or resolving an issue or area in your life that continues to be stuck or limits your ability to operate as your authentic self.
What are the benefits of EMDR Intensives?
Faster results than weekly/hourly therapy to reduce or eliminate symptoms and heal quicker
Enables the brain to process more information in a shorter amount of time – less time is spent managing the traumatic material week to week
Dedicate two to four days to focus on your healing and growth
Cost-effective – less work is missed, you are more productive in your daily life and relationships, as the therapy is highly focused and highly concentrated
Powerful, targeted approach to helping you become unstuck in your current functioning
Lasting change to experience freedom in your life
What help do you offer? I help facilitate change for individuals with difficult life experiences. As an EMDR therapist, I work with clients impacted by trauma to process disturbing life events and assist the brain's natural ability to heal. EMDR therapy promotes healing as well as safe, healthy development and growth.
I am also an Approved Consultant in EMDR and provide individual and group consultation for clinicians seeking Certification or Approved Consultant status in EMDR. Additionally, I offer consultation for cases involving complex trauma and dissociation.
